Photo Shoot : Model Kelly : Hair by Jennifer : Photos by Jake

We wanted to have a little fun with this shoot, so who better to call than the fun-loving Kelly Mason?  She's a music aficionado and a creator of some really wonderful jewelry over at Seabrook Avenue.  We figured she would be a perfect fit for this skateboard themed photo shoot that we did back in May.  On the hair once again was Ms. Jennifer Burdette.  Since there was going to be a lot of uncontrollable movement in this shoot, Jennifer opted to work a sewn texture braid into Kelly's hair.  This helped a lot on the shoot, because the wind didn't mess up her hair while we were shooting.  To help finish it, she used Kevin Murphy's Session Spray, which is the hairspray of choice for photo shoots AND home use (don't worry, we stock up on this for you!).  Photos were taken as usual, by our stylist/photographer, Jake.    Browse through the images below and tell us what you think.  If you're interested in heading into the salon for a new look and a photo shoot to boot, contact Jennifer at Zero Zero today.  (206) 568-3996.

Halloween 2014 Party

It had been a LONG time since Zero Zero dusted off the ol' bar shelf and turned the salon into a night spot, but after 7 long years, we did it again.  This Halloween, we hosted 2 bands and over 150 people through the doors, as Capitol Hill's premier salon got a little turnt up.  Breakaway Derringer and Hello Nowhere rocked the crowd as the evening went on and partiers showed up in their heavily outfitted best.  Thanks to all who attended, we hope you had as much fun as we did!

Photo Shoot : Model Kristen : Hair by Jennifer : Photos by Jake

This shoot took place in May, particularly on May 1st, which lent itself quite nicely to the final photos that we shot for this look.  As we stumbled out the back alley and onto Pine St., the May Day protest was marching down the street and we got a few final photos with the crowd in the background.  For this shoot, Jennifer built Kristen's hair up with each new location that we shot and changed up the part to bring a heavier sweep into the final shots.  Check out the images in the gallery below.  Interested in your own photo shoot?  Contact Zero Zero and speak with Jennifer.  Photos by our stylist/photographer Jake.
